Cyprio Vorton UVCs have been discontinued. For spare parts, please click here.   General Product Information For spring-fed clarity, add a UVC to your filtration system. UVCs are key elements of an effective pond filtration system. When pond water is exposed to the UV light source contained within a UVC, it causes the green water algae to clump together. These larger particles can then be easily filtered out as they pass through the pond filter. UV treatment also reduces the organisms which cause disease in fish.   Product Features   Weatherproof but not submersible Built-in safety switch for maximum outdoor user protection Phillips T.U.V. PL-S "Long Life" germicidal bulbs with state-of-the-art one-ended contact and built-in starter Translucent hosetails allow you to see at a glance that your UVC bulb is working, without exposure to UV-light Single-ended lamp allows easy bulb replacement   Warranty   2-year manufacturer's limited warranty (warranty does not cover UVC bulbs)   Important   MUST be plugged in to a properly grounded and GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected 120 Volt outlet !
