Select the correct tubing size based on your pump's maximum flow rate. These are guidelines only. The specifications available for each pump we sell show the recommended tubing size. Also consult the friction loss chart below when selecting the proper tubing diameter for your application.

The friction loss chart below shows the head loss in inches for each 10 feet of tubing. To keep the friction loss to a minimum and the flow rate up, select larger diameter tubing. The specifications available for each pump we sell show the recommended tubing size.

Our most popular tubing line. This is a line of high quality smooth bore, corrugated, flexible hose which can not kink. This gives minimum resistance to water flow and so optimizes the performance of your pump.

Black Flexible PVC Hose (High-Pressure)

General Product Information

Black PVC hose. Fits PVC Schedule 40 fittings. Simply glue hose to PVC S-40 connectors with a special PVC cement. It is very flexible, yet can withstand 50 PSI of pressure. Available in 25 foot, 50 foot, or 100 foot coils.
Recommended for high-pressure applications, such as large waterfall pumps or connections to upflow filters. S-40 fittings are available (please ask us).

Important

This hose will NOT fit barbed hose adapters or step-down hosetails that come with many pond filters and pumps

Water distributor with one inlet and two outlets. Recommended for use with kink-free or vinyl tubing.

The 2" male threaded inlet has connections for 3/4", 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2" and 2" tubing.

The two 1-1/2" male threaded outlets have connections for 1", 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" tubing. Both outlets are individually adjustable.
